Terms of Service

WhoDidIt · Last updated 6 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the WhoDidIt iOS app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please don't use the app.

What the app does

WhoDidIt records household chores and shows them back to the household as a grid, a comparison view, and a feed. It also provides a shared bulletin board for notes.

The app records and displays. It does not assign chores, judge whether a chore was done well, or decide who is being fair. What the household does with the information is entirely up to the household.

Your account

Your content

The chore logs, photos, and notes you create remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store that content and show it to the other members of your household — which is the service you asked for. We claim no ownership, and we do not use your content for advertising or to train models.

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harassing, or that you have no right to share, and not to photograph people who have not agreed to be photographed. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks this, though in practice a private household board is not something we monitor.

Acceptable use

WhoDidIt Pro

The app is free to use. Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks the full three-month grid history, unlimited photos, home-screen widgets, and CSV export.

PlanPriceDuration
MonthlyUS$2.991 month, renews automatically
AnnualUS$19.991 year, renews automatically
LifetimeUS$59.99One-time purchase, does not renew

Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your local currency and by region; the App Store shows the exact price before you confirm.

How subscriptions work

One limit that applies to everyone

Photos are deleted after 12 months, on every plan including Lifetime. This is a product decision rather than a paywall, and buying Pro does not extend it. The chore log itself is never deleted — only the image. Please don't rely on WhoDidIt as a photo archive.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The app is built to keep working offline: chores you log without a connection are saved on your device and sync when you're back online.

We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that materially breaks these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability — do.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in a small-claims court, or any protection that the consumer law where you live gives you and cannot be waived by agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.
